Through chanting, movement, and breath, Zikr opens the body to Divine presence and dissolves the illusion of separation.

Zikr
Zikr is a sacred Sufi practice of remembrance, reciting praises, prayers, and mantras that reconnect the heart to the Divine Presence. Zikr is a gentle return to the Source, a soft unraveling of everything that keeps us feeling separate. Through rhythmic chanting, synchronized breath, and subtle movement, the group enters a state of presence that dissolves heaviness and awakens a deep inner stillness.

What this ritual is...
-
rhythmic chanting of sacred phrases
-
swinging or swaying movements that help the body release tension
-
synchronized breathing to unify the group’s energy
-
slow invocation that gradually builds into more powerful repetition
-
the possibility of soft trance, where the heart opens and the mind quiets

You might seek Zikr to...
reconnect with your inner peace
release emotional heaviness
quiet the mind and open the heart
regulate the nervous system
feel held in community
experience spiritual presence in a grounded, embodied way
soften into trust, surrender, and inner clarity

Nothing is forced.
Your body follows what feels natural.
The rhythm does the work.
